Designed and produced marketing/support content for a variety of channels. Included filming, photography, editing, motion graphics, graphic design and animation. Established and managed archival structure for storing and accessing all video and graphic image content created by the team. Worked closely with marketing managers, outside teams and the team in China to develop and create quality content for CHASING products.

CHASING Dory: Ice Fishing Video Using Partner Content
We had built a network of users who we partnered with to collect compelling video content from around the world. We would send them a drone and some basic instructions on what we were looking for and have them add their own ideas and inspiration as well. This was a great way to create advocates for the brand and give us the ability to collect more diverse content from the underwater drones.
CHASING Dory: Sailboat inspection Video
We filmed a short video with a Seattle local who was familiar with and already using underwater drones in his sailboat maintenance process. He owned the Gladius Mini, but had not seen the CHASING Dory until our meeting. We spent the day with him, as he was kind enough to let us film and observe, as he used the Dory to inspect the underside his boat. He later shared his thoughts, giving us a sense of what may improve a User’s experience, in real use-case scenario’s such as this.
Underwater Drone
Worked collecting and editing 4K footage captured by the Gladius Mini Underwater Drone. Cut, edited, archived and prepared all raw content for various marketing purposes. Worked with underwater photographers, drone specialists and the CHASING team to collect visually compelling video and image logs from the Gladius Mini, while also troubleshooting and testing real-time app and firmware updates made by the engineers and developers in China.
Underwater Drones as an Educational Tool
We teamed up with “Live It Earth”, a non-profit educational organization providing live-streamed, on-site presentations of local ecology. They agreed to test out the Gladius Mini and use it’s 4K video feed in one of their live feeds relating to salmon migration. We had positive results and they seemed excited with the ability and cost of having an underwater drone as part of their tool-base. This was a great way to test the drone in real world use-case scenario, as well as collect documentation of the event for use in promotional content.
Gladius Mini: User Advocate Video
Another one of our partners spent a day filming in Lake George, Fl. It was always exciting to see what type of content a partner would deliver. Some simply handed over the raw underwater footage, some with head-shot commentary or cinematic shots and some who even finalized their own edits. For us, this was a cheap and effective way to collect diverse footage on a tight schedule, as well as to inspire, enable and connect with those who were enthusiastic about the CHASING brand and wished to advocate on it’s behalf.
Gladius Mini: 45 Degree “Tilt-lock” Mode
A short video illustrating the “Tilt-Lock” feature of the Gladius Mini. Meant to be an engaging short for social channels and informational for retail buyers as part of the dealer package. With underwater drones being a very new market, the need to illustrate specific use cases and show unique functions of the Gladius Mini was crucial. The “Tilt-lock” motion this drone was capable of was new and unique at the time, in relation to competitors.
In App Tutorials
Along with marketing content, I also created support content to aid and educate consumers. Here, I designed & animated a series of in-app tutorials for the Gladius Mini Underwater Drone. The videos illustrated basic setup instructions, potential hazards, proper maintenance and storage practices.
